Bulletproof Sombreros

The New York Jet’s newest acquisition CB Antonio Cromartie has a lot of packing to do before he comes to New York.  Cromartie has seven children with six women in five states.  That’s a lot of diapers if you ask me but I don’t got kids, that i know about, so don’t ask me.

In order to help with his transition to New York, the Jets supposedly have advanced Cromartie 500K to clear up some paternity payments.  I have no problems with the Jets helping Cromartie out with his kid situation.  In all honestly the Jets should just pay for his vasectomy in order to keep their advances down in the future.  Cromartie has shown us that he can perform in the bed.  Now its time for him to perform on the field.

Well it’s not as good as the return of a Super Bowl MVP caliber player but its good to see a familiar face from the dyanasty years back in a system he is comfortable with. He put up 3rd reciever type numbers in his career with New England and although it is 6 years later hopefully he still has the route running ability to fill up some holes. I like it. I think I may enjoy a cheeseburger on this one (Eat This!) Now if we only still had the law firm.

Well barely a month has passed since the New Orleans Saints lifted the Lombardi Trophy (thank god it wasn’t the Indianapolis Peyton’s), but people were already looking to next season before the Reggie Bush had time to clean the champagne of Kim Kardashian’s tight end. The NFL Combine starts today and so begins the endless barage of draft boards and scouting reports, and I love every minute of it. Speculation is all alot of us have to hold on to going into the season. As a Patriots fan I wouldn’t know anything about holding on to false hopes of grandeur, but for many teams they use this time to seek out the illusion of  the diamond in the rough that will turn around their Sanchise franchise. We all know how this turns out every year. Al Davis will pick the fastest in the draft. The fattest will be a top 5 pick. And women will flock to Mel Kiper’s hair the like the salmon of Capistrano. I’m excited to see the hope in every ones eyes for the next year that is until they realize that Patriots are about to repeat as the team of the decade for the 10′s. Enjoy the next four days, it may be the only joy you get for the whole year. I’m talking to you Cleveland.
