The New York Times – BERLIN — Despite facing long odds against a victory, Poland’s former prime minister on Monday declared his candidacy for president in a special election to replace his twin brother, who was killed in a plane crash earlier this month.
Well isn’t that convenient. It looks like in Poland they can just have the leader of their country die in a horrific plane crash and not even skip a beat. And he was already Prime Minister so there won’t be any awkwardness of meeting everyone for the first time and while your at it why doesn’t everyone just call him Lech Kaczynski.
