So if your counting at home that is two professional athletes that have come through Casa de Yukon Fox senior year of college. I unfortunately had to stand my ground and kick Hasheem Thabeet out of my apartment during an unpredictable Spring Weekend and a few weeks before that we hosted the then future Gator, Aaron Hernandez for a few games of beer pong. My roomate requested him giving up Florida for the football mecca that is UConn if he beat him. We are still waiting for him to suit up in the blue and white. Dan you are about to get your wish, just this blue and white has some red mixed in there. That was just life as a college student for Yukon Fox, mixing it up with NBA and NFL quality athletes. Yawn.

P.S. I will not accept responsibility for Thabeets lack of production or Hernandez’s munchies.

Well isn’t that convenient. It looks like in Poland they can just have the leader of their country die in a horrific plane crash and not even skip a beat. And he was already Prime Minister so there won’t be any awkwardness of meeting everyone for the first time and while your at it why doesn’t everyone just call him Lech Kaczynski.

So if you didn’t know already Yukon Fox accepted the groveling of Boston University to attend there institution in the fall. I will be packing my bags from Loisaida and moving to Beantown. I’d like to think I got accepted based on my own merits but its good to know my friends over in Foxboro want me in Boston so bad for the ’10 season that they made a small donation to help get me there. Thank you Mr. Kraft and Mr. Goodell.

So before you tune in to primetime on Thursday go to twitter first to see if you can get a glimpse of what your team may do in the draft.

@NFL - Obviously the first stop on your research binge should be the league itself. They will keep you up on official news league wide not only on mock drafts and prospects but also story lines leading up to and inevitably effecting the draft.

@MelKiperESPN - The question is would Mel Kiper exist if there was no NFL Draft.

Now I am just lazy. Here is a list of official team twitter accounts and then prospects via the New York Times blog, The Fifth Down.

It’s a one-word slip that only came to light after a member of the public got in touch, and which has sent all 7,000 copies of The Pasta Bible at Penguin’s warehouse to be destroyed, an exercise which head of publishing, Robert Sessions, told the Sydney Morning Herald would cost $ 20,000.

That is just disgusting. I mean what kind of cookbook is this. Sardines in tagliatelle? Thats just gross. I’ll stick to the recipe for Cream of Sum Yung Gui.

We are going to try to start a new feature here at Bulletproof Sombreros. Occasionally, probably mostly on Tuesdays since its catchy. we are going to throw out some Toss Up questions. So what better way to start off Toss Up Tuesdays (see catchy) than with the question of which of these sandwiches is a worse idea.

In the first corner you got the Pacific Shrimp Taco from Taco Bell (eww). According to Taco Bell’s website, the Pacific Shrimp Taco is “a warm, soft flour tortilla filled with six succulent shrimp marinated in a mix of spices, then topped with crisp shredded lettuce, Fiesta Salsa, and Avocado Ranch Sauce.” Even if Taco Bell described this taco by adding at the end that it extends your penis 8 inches, I still wouldn’t eat it. Something just doesnt sound right about going into a Taco Bell and ordering the catch of the day.

In the other corner you got KFC’s newest bacon, egg and cheese sandwich minus the egg and I guess they forgot the bread too. KFC’s Double Down sandwich, which made its debut yesterday, is two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel’s Sauce slapped in between two pieces of chicken filets. This product is so meaty, there’s no room for a bun supposedly. So let me get this straight….KFC is trying to sell us a sandwich but they know the American way and instead of bread they slapp it in between two pieces of chicken. This sandwich comes whopping in at 540 calories, 32 g of fat, and 1380 mg of sodium. Early critics dared to tackle this monster. Some of the early reviews have been “The “Double Down,” however, arrives at a new low: a greasy entree dish of chicken with bacon and cheese on it, slathered in sauce, that the company asks customers to eat with their hands. The chicken is watery within its soft casing of “crust,” the cheese familiar to anyone who has eaten food prepared by the United States government, the bacon chemical in its smokiness, the mayonnaise sauce tangy, salty, and sweet, all at once.” (Source: NYTimes). Sounds like something I got to try. What do you think?
